Ms. Nursima
Nursima brings over a decade of diverse leadership, child development, and behavioral expertise to Lake Creek International Montessori School. Rooted in a profound respect for every child’s unique way of understanding the world, her career spans extensive experience as an infant, toddler, and preschool educator, alongside a specialized background as a Behavioral Therapist. Her passion for serving the community and building a better future has consistently driven her to pursue meaningful, purposeful work, most notably during her tenure working for the State of Texas agencies. This foundation of operational and developmental leadership allows her to foster educational environments centered on patience, creativity, and emotional regulation, seamlessly blending early childhood development with mindfulness to help learners, educators and leaders of all ages cultivate emotional intelligence alongside cognitive growth.
An avid advocate for the arts, she believes that creativity builds confidence and resilience in children. Her own artwork has been showcased in the Museum of Fine Arts Houston and featured in Smithsonian Magazine, and in 2024, she was honored to serve on the Williamson County Art Judges panel. She brings this creative lens to the school environment, fostering an innovative and imaginative spirit across the community.
Beyond the classroom, she is a seasoned organizational leader and entrepreneur who has successfully directed multiple Montessori campuses. Her professional background also includes managing her own family-rooted business ventures and providing elite conflict management, decision-making, and critical issue resolution for major global enterprise teams. Guided by the belief that success is built on trust, integrity, and shared vision, she focuses on ensuring that Lake Creek International Montessori School remains a deeply connected community where children, families, and educators thrive together.
Outside of school, she is dedicated to creating art in all its forms. She believes Montessori education is an art in itself, and that the journey of becoming a Montessori adult is a beautiful transformation. In her leisure time, she enjoys gardening and reading non-fiction. Above all, she cherishes exploring new experiences and sharing playful moments with her two sons, Aslan and Aydin—whether they are bike riding, building models, flying kites, cooking, or playing sports together.
