Ms. Shannon

Shannon joins our LakeCreek team after leading as a director at a Montessori from 2018-2026. With nearly a decade of experience in early childhood education and administration, Shannon has overseen every aspect of a Montessori center's operation. She is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment where both students and staff can thrive, and she brings strong community-building skills to cultivate lasting relationships with families.

Prior to becoming a director, she was a teacher in South Korea, and Seattle, Washington, where she is originally from. Her love of Montessori grew when she taught at an international Montessori in Suwon, South Korea. In 2017, she moved from Washington to Austin and began her path to education leadership.

In her free time, Shannon enjoys spending time with her family and friends and her boxer Jada. She loves to travel, workout, read, discover new places in Austin, and anything that involves water.
