Ms. Sophia

Ms. Sophia joins LakeCreek Montessori with five years of experience working at one of the leading Montessori schools in Shenzhen, China. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and a master’s degree in Education. She completed her AMI 3–6 Montessori educator training and earned her AMI 3–6 certification, along with additional Montessori certifications in Creativity and Art and English Language Arts.

Throughout her Montessori experience in Shenzhen, Sophia worked with mixed-age classrooms and children from diverse cultural and international backgrounds. These experiences helped her develop a deep appreciation for each child’s individuality and the importance of creating an inclusive and respectful classroom community.

Sophia chose Montessori education because she believes children are naturally curious, capable, and eager to learn. She especially values the Montessori approach of respecting each child’s individual pace, encouraging independence and confidence, and nurturing a lifelong love of learning. She enjoys creating a warm and engaging environment where children feel supported as they explore, make discoveries, and develop their own abilities.

Outside of the classroom, Sophia enjoys traveling, swimming, practicing yoga, gardening, and spending time outdoors. She loves learning about different cultures and meeting people from different backgrounds. She is excited to be part of the LakeCreek Montessori community and looks forward to learning and growing alongside the children and families.

Sophia 老师加入 LakeCreek Montessori 之前,曾在中国深圳一所知名蒙特梭利学校任教五年。她拥有语言学学士学位和教育学硕士学位,完成了 AMI 3-6岁蒙特梭利教师培训并获得 AMI 3-6岁认证,同时还持有蒙特梭利创意艺术(Creativity and Art)以及英语语言艺术(English Language Arts)方面的额外认证。



在深圳从事蒙特梭利教育期间,Sophia 曾任教于混龄班级,与来自不同文化背景和国际背景的孩子们共同学习。这些经历让她更加深刻地体会到每个孩子的独特性,以及营造包容、相互尊重的班级氛围的重要性。

Sophia 选择蒙特梭利教育,是因为她相信孩子天生充满好奇心、富有能力,并渴望学习。她尤其认同蒙特梭利教育理念中尊重每个孩子个体节奏、鼓励独立与自信、培养终身学习热情的做法。她乐于营造温暖而富有吸引力的学习环境,让孩子们在探索、发现与能力发展的过程中,始终感受到支持与陪伴。

工作之余,Sophia 喜欢旅行、游泳、练习瑜伽、园艺以及户外活动。她热爱了解不同的文化,也乐于结识来自各地的朋友。她很高兴能成为 LakeCreek Montessori 大家庭的一员,并期待与孩子们和家长们一同学习、共同成长。
