Ms. Valerie

Ms. Valerie was born and raised in Hong Kong, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and worked in the corporate field before discovering her passion for education. In 2019, she moved to the United States to pursue a Master’s in Education, and later earned her AMI Montessori diploma in 2022.

Before joining LakeCreek Montessori, Ms. Valerie served as an Instructional Coordinator at Magic Dragon Multi Cultural Program, where she supported teaching, family engagement, and cultural programming to promote holistic child development. Her diverse experience across age groups and roles has given her a well-rounded perspective on child-centered learning.

Ms. Valerie is drawn to Montessori education because of its emphasis on nurturing the whole child - fostering independence, curiosity, and confidence. She is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and values creating inclusive and respectful learning environments

where every child feels seen and supported.

Outside the classroom, she enjoys live music, jogging, traveling, and playing guzheng, a 21-string traditional instrument.
