Ms. Veronica

Ms. Veronica brings nearly two decades of Montessori experience to her work as an Academic Program Specialist and AMI-trained Elementary Guide. Her journey began in 2007 as a Casita Lead and Spanish teacher at Breckinridge Montessori, where she guided toddlers and introduced young children to language through Touch Spanish and ASL. From there, she moved into elementary classrooms, worked as a Bilingual SPED Teacher Aide supporting neurodivergent learners at an elementary, and served as a Children's House Lead Teacher at Round Rock Montessori School.

Ms. Veronica went on to spend three years as an Elementary Guide at Goodwater Montessori Charter School, aligning Montessori and TEKS curricula for first through third graders, before joining Community Montessori School in 2020. There, she has grown into the role of Academic Program Specialist and Lead Elementary Guide, coordinating academic implementation across programs serving children from 12 months through adolescence. She works closely with school leadership on curriculum alignment, staff coaching and training, AMI compliance, and shaping the vision for the school's Montessori Adolescent Program.

Ms. Veronica holds a BA in Montessori Studies from Sarasota University and completed her AMI Elementary training (6–12 years) through Montessori Northwest/Whitworth University. She is MACTE certified, has completed Public Montessori in Action International's Coach's Training, and continues to expand her expertise through ongoing professional development, including Nurtured Heart Training and Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression. She serves on the Board of Directors for TEAM (Texas Education and Advocacy for Montessori), is a Sarasota University Advisory Board Member, and belongs to both AMI and AMS.

Ms. Veronica is passionate about making Montessori education accessible and meaningful for every family she works with. She especially loves bridging home and school through close communication with parents, and finds joy in supporting teachers as they grow in their own Montessori practice.

Outside of her work, Ms. Veronica remains an active supporter of the Montessori community throughout Texas, mentoring new guides and advocating for high-fidelity, developmentally appropriate practice for all learners.
