Ms. Yalan

Ms. Yalan grew up in Wuhan, one of the hottest cities in China. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Economics with an emphasis in International Trade, she worked in related fields before becoming a mom.

Raising her two boys sparked Ms. Yalan's passion for helping children grow—not just physically, but also emotionally and academically. She discovered Montessori while tutoring at her son’s school and quickly became an advocate after seeing his amazing progress.  Ms. Yalan loves how Montessori fosters both academic skills and qualities like courtesy and independence.

Outside of school, Ms. Yalan enjoys reading and storytelling, practicing Pilates, Chinese calligraphy, and creating handcrafts.
